The Point System (How it All Works)

  Joining the XploreU community is free, and the more involved you are in the community, the more it actually gives back to you. When you are active on XploreU, you earn points.

  Here are some examples of different ways you can earn points on XploreU:

Become a member - 50 points
Complete your profile –100 points
Invite friends to join XploreU – 50 points (per friend that joins)
Add an XU friend – 10 points
Write a story – 10-50 points depending on categories and topics
Upload pictures to your content – 10 points
Upload videos to your content – 10 points
Comment on another member’s content – 5 points
Rate another member’s content – 5 points
Bid on a travel contest – you receive double the points you bid on the contest

  All the points you earn contribute to your point total. You can use points to apply to challenges to win sponsored volunteer trips, donate to international charities on our causes page, or pick out cool stuff from our online rewards store.
