Anytime that you are about to take a road trip, you may feel a bit overwhelmed. You originally thought the road trip would be an alternative option to flying, and therefore, would save a few bucks in your pocket. No worries, it is possible to take road trip on a budget (and have fun!)
1. Bring great friends - you don't want to stuck in a vehicle for x amount of hours with someone that could possibly ruin your trip! The more people, the less expensive the trip will be.
2. Bring food - it is expensive to eat out, or stop along the way to fulfill your nutrient needs. Pack a cooler, make some sandwiches and snacks, and save!
3. Camp out - it's free, and fun!
4. Navigate your route ahead of time - this will save on both time and gas!
5. Find the cheapest gas - either check it out on your mobile phones, or map it out ahead of time. Even 5 cents a gallon goes a long way.
