At Fair Oak Farm in Indiana, I watched as a female cow gave birth to its third calf. Though the owner of the farm said that most births are quick and easy, this female was rather old and clearly dealth with some difficulties. It was shocking, disgusting, beautiful and admiring all at the same time.
