Frommer recently published a piece on the ten best places to bike in Europe. Among the top contenders: London, Paris, Lyon, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and a few others. Missing: Barcelona.
Barcelona is one of the most bike friendly cities that I have ever visited. The streets are lined with either promenades or clearly marked bike roadways, and every street corner has a bike locking station. The city is absolutely beautiful, and the best way to see it is by biking. Hands down.
