On long bus journeys, buses will stop at bathrooms because their bathrooms sometimes don't work. It isn't every day you hear about what they are like.
Here is a short piece I wrote in my journal after visiting one of the ever so common nasty bathrooms:
“Dirty holes set in a yellow urine floor.
Ranking of feces and vomit.
Poop smeared across the walls.
I actually paid to release in here?!”
Tips when tackling a disgusting bathroom:
1. Always bring toilet paper
2. Roll the bottom of your pants up
3. Bring anti-bacterial gel
4. Carry change to pay for bathroom
5. Avoid using your hands if possible
6. Practice squatting ;-)
