Even if you are not expecting to walk around very much on your trip, bring proper footwear. Proper footwear adheres to the following criteria: 1. It is comfortable!!! This means it also supports your foot… so not flats 2. It is durable 3. It is not open-toed and it covers your whole foot 4. It won’t get soaked in the rain. Wear it on the plane, find room for it in your bag, buy some that you find stylish…whatever. Just bring it.
