Looking for an adrenaline rush in Argentina? Don’t you worry! I’ve got many in store for you! If traveling across Argentina make a stop in Salta for some adventure sports. There is a friendly company called Salta Rafting, which offers white water rafting tours and canopy tours for an affordable price.
I skipped the rafting because the level wasn’t extreme enough for me and my expert rafting skills. Totally kidding. I was going home in a month and already had a white water trip planned in Maine so I figured I’d save my cash. Everyone I met had a blast that went on it though!
I HIGHLY recommend the zip line tour! It was my first time ever and it was the perfect first time experience. The staff was patient and assuring that I wouldn’t be dropping hundreds of feet into a river. I was the first one attached and sent on the line all by accident. He asked for a volunteer so I raised my hand. In a second, I was clipped and flying high in the sky over a river! The scenery was breath taking! While flying like a condor from one mountain to another mountain, I was able to appreciate Argentina’s countryside. At the end of the tour, the rafting and zip line groups all gathered around for a tasty BBQ with top-notch steak. End a tour in Argentina without a steak? Ya, right.
