Salta, Argentina is a wonderful city to visit because there are endless amounts of activities to do! There is a beautiful downtown to go shopping and eating in but there are also sports to tackle like white water rafting, zip lining, bungee jumping, and horseback riding! My first time ever riding on a horse was at a ranch surrounded by mountains called Sayta only 45 minutes from Salta. Let me remind you, I have NEVER been on a horse before but I was a natural! They let you gallop quite fast and all I needed was a shot gun and enemies to chase after! I got such an adrenaline rush. I felt as if I could jump over fences or stand on the horse’s back. However, my cockiness caught up to me because I ended up pulling a rib muscle from all the galloping I did. After two hours of horse back riding, we went back to the ranch for a delicious lunch. There was unlimited amount of meat to eat. Who am I kidding? I was more excited about the unlimited amounts of wine to drink!! They served us wine that was made by nearby monks and played us music on their guitars. I would also highly recommend spending a night or two at the Sayta Ranch. In the end, I left pretty tipsy, pulled a muscle, met wonderful people, and rode my first horse. Not bad for $30 bucks!
